JOIN WESTWOOD LAND TRUST FOR A HIKE on 10/24/21!

The owners of 590 Gay Street have generously granted Westwood Land Trust (WLT) permission to host a public hike on Sunday, October 24th, starting at noon. With over 74 acres preserved, this is the largest property protected by WLT. Scenic views of open, rolling fields are preserved along the 1,475 feet of frontage on Gay Street. The property includes many acres of wetlands and forests and ensures a diversity of wildlife habitat. The pond area is especially beautiful. This was the most popular hike WLT hosted of its 20th anniversary hikes in 2019.

Hikers and leaders will meet at noon in the parking area near the main house for 2-mile hike. All ages are welcome. (Dogs are not permitted.) Waterproof footwear and long pants and sleeves are recommended. Any date changes due to weather will be posted on WLT’s Facebook page.
